Group Therapy & Private Client Events
Dr. Whitley offers monthly group therapy gatherings in her North Chesterfield home, cultivating a safe and nurturing space for connection and healing. In addition to these groups, she hosts private ceremonial experiences such as full moon manifestations and new moon release rituals. Dr. Whitley also facilitates personalized therapeutic intensives, collaborating with local energy-medicine practitioners to integrate modalities such as sound baths, shamanic journeying, drum circles, breathwork, and expressive arts therapies—creating deeply immersive mind-body-spirit experiences for those seeking transformation.

Healing Together
Healing Together is a small, therapist-led group for current Bluebird Holistic clients only who are seeking connection, emotional support, and space to process life’s challenges in community. This in-person group offers a safe, confidential environment to explore stress, anxiety, burnout, and life transitions while learning practical tools for emotional resilience.
Participants are invited to share at their own pace and engage in guided discussion, grounding practices, and supportive reflection. This group is not about fixing or performing—it’s about being real, being heard, and healing alongside others who understand.
This group is currently full.

Restorative Retreat for Renewal
This January, Bluebird Holistic Health is hosting a restorative women’s mountain retreat dedicated to renewal, grounding, and self-discovery.
Surrounded by the quiet stillness of winter and the peaceful beauty of the mountains, participants will step into a deeply nurturing space designed to restore the mind, body, and spirit.
Over the course of the retreat, women will be guided through a series of immersive healing experiences, including:
✨ Sound bath meditation to soften the nervous system and invite emotional clarity
🔥 Drumming circle to awaken strength, connection, and inner rhythm
💨 Therapeutic breathwork to release stored tension and create spaciousness within
🎨 Expressive art therapy to explore intuition, creativity, and personal insight
Each session is facilitated with intention, safety, and compassion—allowing participants to peel back the layers of expectation and step more fully into their authentic selves. The retreat offers time for reflection, meaningful connection, and gentle ritual, encouraging each woman to embrace where she is on her journey and to honor the transformation already unfolding.
A powerful, restorative way to begin the new year.
Spaces are limited to preserve intimacy and depth of experience.
Reclaiming the Self
This monthly women’s therapy group is designed to help participants reconnect with their authentic selves. Together, we explore what it means to reclaim identity beyond the roles and expectations placed on us—mother, partner, daughter, professional, caretaker, and more. Through guided discussion and therapeutic activities, we gently examine the difference between who we truly are and who we’ve been told to be, creating space to release what no longer serves us and step into a fuller, more grounded sense of self.

New Moon Release & Opening
On the night of the new moon, when the sky is at its darkest and the veil of possibility is at its thinnest, we gather in sacred ceremony to call in what our hearts are ready to receive. Under the glow of the crescent moon and the shimmer of stardust skies, we set intentions for new beginnings, fresh cycles, and gentle transformation.
Together, we will release old patterns that no longer serve us and plant seeds for what we are ready to welcome—clarity, love, abundance, alignment, peace. Through ritual, reflection, and guided manifestation, we honor the magic of renewal and the wisdom within every woman present.
A night to begin again. A night to choose yourself. A night to co-create with the universe. ✨
Healing with Compassion
Dr. Whitley facilitates group therapy through a trauma-informed lens, ensuring that every participant feels safe, empowered, and in control of their own healing process. Her groups are built on principles of consent, choice, and compassion. Participants are never pushed to share beyond their comfort level and are encouraged to move at a pace that honors their nervous system and lived experiences.
Using Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dr. Whitley helps group members explore the different “parts” within themselves—the protective parts that have learned to keep them safe, the wounded parts that carry pain from the past, and the core Self that holds calmness, clarity, and wisdom. In group work, this framework offers participants a new way of understanding their emotional responses without shame or judgment.
Rather than focusing on pathology, the group supports:
• Curiosity instead of self-criticism
• Compassion instead of blame
• Connection instead of isolation
Members learn to notice and tend to their internal world while also experiencing the strength and validation that comes from healing in community. Dr. Whitley guides the group with gentleness and attunement, helping each person feel seen, respected, and empowered to reconnect with the resilient Self beneath their struggles.
Together, the group becomes a space where trauma can soften, nervous systems can settle, and authentic connection can flourish.
